Hi I’m Crofty I’m old enough to know better but young enough to still be stupid! In my IRL I’m a full-time Carer for my amazing wife, who supports me every step of the way in my streaming, being able to have full control of what i stream and when i stream meaning i can make her my priority but still do something i love even when I’m sat at home all day.
This is ‘my story’
I took the step into streaming in march 2021 after being known by my voice and name featuring on my Brother-In-Law community. People would regularly ask me when I stream and quickly became shocked to find out at the time I was’nt doing anything. With a little (ok ok we know the truth) A LOT of encouragement from Searsey I finally took the plunge and what a thrill it has been!
Over the last few years i have been honoured to gain an amazing community who enjoy to punish me with their love in sour sweets, horror games, jump scares and so much more! I mean who knew farming simulator could make you scream in fear? My choice in games can vary quite a bit but i’m always found to be going back to simulators or Fortnite (well I run around does that count?)
My streams are for anyone but you must be warned I speak english, bad english with my dominant language being foul mouthed english (meaning i swear… a lot….sorry in advance)
In 2021 I joined an amazing cause Become Players a group of gamers and streamers who work togehter to raise funds for the chairty Become – Helping children in care and care leavers (those over the age of 18) in the uk. It is such and underrated charity that does so much to help those going through struggles. Become even fight the government to make changes to policies to make it better for them. In 2023 I was lucky to of taken part in my 4th fundraising event hitting a lifetime raised amount of over £1000 and given the honour of being one of the first Become Players Partner.
In 2022 I was introduced to GSCON during one of my fundraising events, plans was forming for me to attend gscon22 when my life took a turn. I suddenly lost my dog to cancer, 6 weeks was all we had from finding the lump and it broke me. I cancelled everything I was doing, I began to hide away, stopped gaming as I could’nt deal with the way things was. This was when I never realised how much a family I had within GSCON, they reached out to me, became someone I could talk to. The community surrounded me with love and helped me to begin to heal.
In April 2023 my application for a Gscon Creator was accepted and a whole chapter has opened up for me! In August 2023 I attended my first GSCON event breaking out of my comfort zone, meeting people in real life and just generally having a blast! The community got to see in real time the effects of “Adulting Drinks” and seemed to enjoy it more than over a stream! During the weekend I was blown away to find out that this amazing community voted me in as a Partner and as Best Interactive Streamer, I honestly cant thank you all enough i’m still blown away by that!
Schedule – At the moment i am having some changes to life at home that means i can not give any specified scheduled days,
I generally will be live in the late afternoon/evenings Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, (with the odd Thursday stream!)
